Accessibility statement
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to read this site and sign up for Usher Up, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we check every page against it before it goes live.
What we do
- Every page uses proper headings, landmarks and a skip link so screen readers and keyboard users can move around quickly.
- Text and interface colours meet the AA contrast ratio, including muted text and links.
- Every interactive element has a visible focus indicator and can be operated by keyboard alone.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms label every field, state which fields are required, and announce errors next to the field they concern.
- Pages respect your reduced motion setting and do not auto play anything.
- Text can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content, and the layout works on small screens.
- Our bot check on the sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which does not require solving a puzzle.
Conformance status
We believe this website conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA. We review it with automated tools (Lighthouse and axe) and by hand with keyboard navigation and a screen reader before each release. The handoff emails we send to businesses are plain text with an HTML alternative that uses real headings and tables.
Known limitations: none at the moment. If you find one, it goes here along with our plan to fix it.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site is hard to use, use our contact form with the page and what happened. We reply within 5 business days and treat accessibility problems as bugs to fix, not requests to consider.
