When someone asks an AI assistant who to hire, be the business it can actually reach.
People now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity for recommendations. The assistant can name you. It cannot knock on your door. Usher Up is the door.
"Want me to contact them for you?" When the person says yes, the request lands in your inbox with the whole conversation attached.

A customer asks an assistant who to hire. Here is what happens next, with and without Usher Up.
Video transcript
The video has music and sound effects but no narration. Here is everything it shows, in order.
A chat with an AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity). The customer asks: "Who should I hire to replace my water heater?" The assistant answers: "Bright Path Plumbing is a good fit for a tank unit in your area. Their number is (949) 555-0142."
"Then the assistant stops." Your customer has a phone number and all of the work: call during your hours, explain it all again, hope someone picks up. "Most never do."
"Meet Usher Up. The assistant passes the customer to you, instead of passing your number to the customer."
Step 1, The assistant asks: "Want me to send this to Bright Path Plumbing? They would get your name, your email, and a summary of what we worked out, and reply to you directly." The customer answers: "Yes, go ahead." Consent recorded; nothing is sent without it.
Step 2, The lead lands in your inbox. An email headed "New lead: Quote request from Dana Reyes" shows: from Dana Reyes via Claude; wants a quote for a 50 gallon water heater this week; context: compared tank and tankless, chose tank, wants a price and an install date; reply to dana@example.com; consent agreed at 3:14 PM. Delivered by email, webhook or HubSpot within seconds.
Step 3, You reply: "A warm lead, context included." You already know what they need and what they decided. No callback chase. No starting over.
"Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and any assistant that reads your website." Sign up and your contact page is live. No code, no developer. Adding a snippet to your own site is optional.
Pricing: Free, 3 handoffs a month. $29, 100 a month. $79, 500 a month. "Per month. Never per lead."
"Usher Up. AI assistants hand customers to you, conversation included." usherup.com, free to start.
How it works
Four steps. You only do the first one.
1
You open the door
Tell us your business name, services, hours and where to send leads. Your contact page is live right away. If you can, add one snippet to your website so assistants find it there too.
2
A customer asks an assistant
They describe what they need. The assistant recommends you and offers to make contact.
3
The customer says yes
The assistant asks permission to share their name, contact details and a summary of the chat. If they say no, nothing is sent.
4
You get the handoff
An email, a webhook, or a record in your CRM. You reply by phone or email, the way you always have.
What lands in your inbox
Not a form submission with a name and a phone number. A handoff: what the person asked for, what came up, how urgent it is, and proof they agreed to be contacted.
The conversation, summarised. You know what they want before you pick up the phone.
Three kinds of request. A quote, a callback, or a support ticket. You see which one at a glance.
Urgency, flagged. "Needs a reply today" is right in the subject line.
Consent, recorded. Every handoff carries the time and the wording of the customer's permission.
Your tools, not new ones. Email, HubSpot, or a webhook into whatever you run. No portal to log into.

Without a door
The assistant names you and the conversation ends.
The customer has to find your site, your form, and start over.
Most do not.
With Usher Up
The assistant can send the customer to your door, or hand off on the spot once it has Usher Up installed.
You receive the full context, not a cold lead.
You reply knowing exactly what they need.
Pricing
Per month, never per lead. Start free, upgrade when the handoffs are worth it.
Starter
Free
no card needed
For a business that wants to see the first handoffs arrive before paying.
No. Your contact page is live the moment you confirm your email, with nothing added to your website. There is one optional step: a short snippet for one page of your site, so assistants that read your site know the page exists. Anyone who can edit the site can paste it in, and on Squarespace, Wix or WordPress it goes in the header code box. If nobody on your side edits the site, forward the snippet to whoever built it. The whole thing is a copy and paste.
Which assistants does this work with?
Today, any assistant that browses the web can send people to your hosted contact page. Assistants with Usher Up installed as a tool, over the open MCP standard, can hand off on the spot. We publish a policy for assistant makers and keep this answer current as each one adds support.
Can a customer be contacted without agreeing?
No. The assistant must confirm the customer said yes before Usher Up accepts the request. Requests without that confirmation are rejected and nothing is stored.
What does it cost?
Starter is free and delivers three handoffs a month. Paid plans are $29 and $79 a month, priced per month and never per lead. See pricing.
What counts as a handoff?
One accepted request from an assistant or your hosted contact page, delivered to you. Requests we reject for missing consent or bad data do not count.
What happens if I go over my free handoffs?
On Starter, the first three handoffs each month are delivered in full. Any that arrive after that are held, and we email you what is waiting: the kind of request, how urgent it is, and what it is about. Upgrade and every held one is delivered the same minute. On paid plans we keep delivering and email you about moving up. All the rules are on the pricing page.
Where does the data live and for how long?
On Cloudflare's network, encrypted, for 90 days, then it is deleted. You can ask us to delete any handoff sooner. The details are in our privacy policy.
Building an assistant, or connecting your own systems?
This part is for the technical reader; business owners can skip it. Usher Up is an MCP server at https://usherup.com/mcp with one tool, usher_up_contact, and a plain HTTPS endpoint described at https://usherup.com/openapi.json. Handoffs can also be delivered to your own systems by signed webhook. Start with the assistant policy; it has the endpoints, the consent rules, and a sample business to test against.

Who runs this
Usher Up is built by Aliso LLC, the same small company behind Web-Cited, which tracks how AI assistants describe your business. Usher Up handles the moment after that: when the person is ready to talk to you.
It is early. If you run a small business, open your door today; it takes a few minutes and Starter is free.
